Best dentist office in town

Been going to this office a long time, since Bob Durban was my dentist. Now Amy Leiker carries on the excellent dental care. All the staff are super friendly. Makes a trip to the dentist a positive experience!

Love the dentist

My daughter even loves going to the dentist because of the staff. They are the best and care about the patients. My daughter still thinks they put her to sleep because she was tired after and they didnt i just find it hilarious how the kids think, but she loves them.

Professional, thorough, and compassionate

I have been a client of this dental office for too many years to count. The office was located on 29th Street with Dr. Bob and Shannon when I first started using the services provided. All staff members that I have dealt with have always been well-trained, pleasant, courteous, professional, and compassionate. This office has a family atmosphere and a welcoming environment.

Professional staff, friendly

Had a root canal this morning. I had no pain at all and it took less than an hour. Dr. Derek makes me feel like I can trust him and after having him as my Dentist for over five years and all the dental work I have had done I have had only positive results. Best experience I've ever had at a dental office

I was scheduled to have my first appointment in May for a teeth cleaning. However, I ended up with swelling in my face for which I went to the PA at my primary care dr in February. She said she didn't know what was wrong, she would speak to the dr and call me. One month later I had not heard back amd was now having pain so I called. The next day they called back and recommended I see my dentist. I called and was able to get in the same day. All the staff was wonderful, and most importantly within a few minutes I found out I had an abscess. 45 minutes from new patient registry, to xray, prescription called in, an appointment with an endodontist and back out the door. Now that's service!

Fast service

My triple crown (3 teeth connected) fell out, which is serious because these are front and visible. I called Today's Dentistry needing help right away, They actually fit me in that very afternoon, and got my teeth--and my appearance--back to normal.

Today’s Visit

Today was my appointment to have my teeth cleaned and checked for any problems. Well, not so lucky this time. Any, my dentist, found that one of my old fillings was not secure any longer plus I had developed a new cavity in one of my front teeth. So she asked me if I had some time available today to get it corrected. It turns out that they had a cancellation so she was willing to do it now. I’m retired so time was not a problem for me. Before I knew it I was in the chair and having these cavities filled. About an hour later I was on my way home. Sure was nice and easy. They have always taken good care of my dental needs. I would highly recommend them if you ever need a great dental clinic.

Awesome Practice

I had to have a Crown replaced. After the initial checking the old Crown was removed. A temporary Crown was put in place. The treatment went smoothly and the care was excellent.

Exceptional, caring dentist skilled in treating dental anxiety

Today my 13 year old daughter went in for her first fillings with Dr. Derek Durbin. Prior to the appointment she experienced intense dental anxiety. Dr. Durbin’s caring approach, taking the time to explain everything to her, made all the difference in the world. During her appointment, you would not even have known of the anxiety she experienced leading up to the appointment.

Excellent Service, Caring and Compassionate

I have been going to this practice for close to 20 years and have had a great experience, first with Dr. Bob, and then Dr. Leiker. My hygienist, Wendy, provides exceptional care in a calm setting. I had requested her to be my regular hygienist after the first time I had her because she understands my needs while being thorough and professional. In addition, this practice is on time, so you can plan time off work with accuracy. Highly recommend!

Comfortable staff makes the world of difference

I had a horrible deep root cleaning today..as many people have anxiety with dental procedures but the staff kept talking to me and asking me if I was doing okay and if I needed a break. The process itself is what it is but the staff made all the difference. Couldn’t imagine going to anyone else

My experience was excellent. I have been going to Dr. Bob Durbin since 1989. The service is not missing a beat under the care of Dr. Derek Durbin. Pam, my dental hygienist cleans my teeth, and makes me feel completely comfortable during the procedure. Wonderful, caring staff!

We love Today's Dentistry! From the receptionists, to the hygienists, and the doctor's- all are caring, compassionate, patient and have a true passion for their work! We have been seeing Dr. Bob since I was a preschooler, and now I take my own children. We now drive an hour each way to get to their practice but they're SO worth it!

"Crown" Jewel of Topeka

I have been a patient for 6 six years. I am so glad I switched practices! I only wish I had done it sooner, then maybe I wouldn't have the problems with my teeth that they are now trying to fix. I used to have to wait 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes for my prior dentist. This practice is efficient and timely. Highly recommend.

Easy going, personable & quality!

I have been a patient at Today's Dentistry for my entire life, but got to see them from a parents prospective for the first time today. I can't say enough good things about how kind the staff was to my child. Consistent quality service and care

Dr. Bob has been my dentist since I was 18, and now over 30 years later, both he, Dr. Derek and Dr. Hathaway continue to provide the same outstanding care. All of the staff in the office are warm and professional, all of the hygienists are thorough and gentle and the quality and attention to detail of the work of the dentists has always been outstanding. Emergency visits have always been scheduled immediately. If you are apprehensive about visiting the dentist, coming here will give you a new perspective, it is a pleasure coming here.

Can't imagine going anywhere else

My husband and I have gone to Dr. Bob since he had a small office on 29th St. over 20 years ago. When we moved to California in 1999, we scheduled our dentist appointments as often as possible with Dr. Bob when we came back to visit family. When we moved to Glasco (2 hours west of Topeka) in 2004, we made all of our appointments with Dr. Bob. The "new" office is fantastic with state of the art equipment and very caring, friendly, competent staff - from the front desk to the hygienists and all others. While we have never gone to a different dentist in the office, I would be very confident any of them were excellent dentists because they were hired by Dr. Bob. I may even have to try Dr. Derek (who I taught in pre-school) some year!
